Aidilfitri 2006
|
|
Salam Aidilfitri to all Maaf Zahir & Batin.
Yet again, another trailer.
| Quote: | Thank you to those who commented on previous entries and for the Aidilfitri wishes. Thank you thank you thank you! Apology for not being able to wish on time. I know, I haven't been visiting and commenting many fotopages. Truly sorry and I will definitely visit them gradually. It is Week 5 of Uni and things just start to pile up and this has taken up most of my time Hope to see loads of great stuff on your fotopages as always This entry will be updated...though I am still not sure when. Stay tuned |
UPDATED on 28112006
Aidilfitri celebration this year is most significant out of the many. I celebrated without my family for the first time I truly missed the salam in pagi raya, and the list really goes on and on. So this is how it feels to be an oversea student huh?
Nonetheless thank you soooo much to my housemates and Kaoru for making Raya such an enjoyable, fun and not-so-emotional event. My housemates and I cooked Raya food for the first time (besssttttt!!!! sedaaapppp!! jom buat lagi!!!!). The jumping scenes with Kaoru (Yume was on tripod) are my favourites, I felt so happy that day despite the fact we had a class afterwards.
THANK YOU!
Enjoy the photos.
Salam Aidilfitri dari Perantauan,

Beauty
|
|
Today Oxford was unbelievably sunny in the evening, and Yume and I (and Kaoru, after bribing her with McD's haha) went to town to capture its beauty.
As thumbnail, I include a photo of my dearest tomodachi Kaoru.
Thank you for coming along! ありがとう。

Salam Ramadhan
|
|
Ramadhan Al-Mubarak to all Muslims.
My submission for Borakphoto's #7 Assignment:
p.s. I tried my best to do a light trail of the word Ramadhan in Arabic but it did not work out the way I wanted. Oh well, there is always time for experiments in the future The word Allah was chosen instead. Allahuakbar.

PARIS - Revealed
|
|
An unexpected and unplanned trip actually. Four days and three nights of great great great fun!
First time to visit the absolutely beautiful city. If my dad didn't have work there, I wouldn't have got the chance to visit it.
Thank you Abah. Will treasure this piece of memory forever
Seriously there were LOADS of photos captured by Yume, but I've got to somehow select out of the hundreds of shots
Waterloo Station - It all started here. Took the Eurostar to Paris.
Eiffel Tower at night - Went there on the first day I arrived and even went to the very top of the tower Such amazing structure.
Arch De Triomphe Etoile - Handheld.
Louvre Museum - The series. I was not allowed to take photos inside the museum but oh well, they did not notice
Ritz Hotel - The series. Stayed one night here! It was just waaaaay too fancy! Classy!
Ritz Hotel - An exclusive shot of the interior for your view
Ritz Hotel - Well, I couldn't resist myself, a red Ferrari parked in front of Ritz! Had to pose of course
Palais Royal - Beautiful garden and buildings surrounded the area and this particular statue caught my attention
Palais Royal - I found this couple interesting, shaded by the trees, seated together on a bench.
I hope the waiting for this entry is worth your while.

Presenting - The OBSU Japanese Society Committee
|
|
I feel so lucky and grateful to have been offered a position for the Japanese Society as the Marketing Co-Ordinator (and official Photographer ).
The following photos were taken by Yume during the Freshers Fair at our University on 19th and 20th September. Took place at the Marquee and I must say I truly enjoyed the whole experience. We've managed to get more than 100 people to join our society and hopefully there will be more who'll sign up during our first event in early October.
Omedetou and Gambarou minna!
Just doing my job,
